Praise God from whom all blessings flow! I am Pastor Ronald D. Sterling, pastor of St. Stephen AME Church, Birmingham, Alabama. We are grateful to the Lord for being so faithful. This is a season of spiritual growth for St. Stephen. We continually see the Lord bless with His presence and power in our worship service, but most of all in our lives personally.

As a body of believers we have gone through many trials and tribulations, but we are grateful that we still have joy. The love of God still flows in our midst as we learn to trust and obey the Lord with our services and our lives. We are maturing in the things of the Lord thus enabling us to take God’s word outside the church.

"Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the Lord of hosts." (Zechariah 4:6) No man can take credit for the Lord’s doing. We are prayerful that the Lord will do even greater works in the future. We know that it is the Lord’s desire that we take the Gospel of Jesus Christ into the world and we are allowing Him to equip us for the task.
